As well as establishing Liaise Loddon Limited, Marion founded The Loddon School and developed PROACT-SCIPr-UK®. She has been involved in special care and education all her teaching life including as head teacher of three special schools and a director of a large facility offering special care and education.

The Loddon School is a registered charity that has an international reputation for its work. Many children and families continue to benefit from the yearlong programme of care and special education offered by the school, which focuses on positive programmes delivered within a supportive and therapeutic environment.

PROACT-SCIPr-UK ® is based on a philosophy that emphasises a proactive approach to care and supports individuals through times of behavioural crisis in a sensitive and caring manner, so that the needs of the whole person are met. Minimal, non-aversive, supportive physical interventions are used only when essential for safety. Currently, over 700 instructors teach the programme in schools, care settings, hospitals and community homes all over the British Isles?

Apart from running Liaise Loddon, Marion somehow finds time to write about care matters and lecture, both in the UK and internationally. And is an active Rotarian and now the first woman president of her Rotary Club.
