Our service supports national and local strategies for adults with autism
We are keen to work closely with local councils and the NHS in providing a supported environment for individuals with the most severe and profound cognitive impairments associated with autism.
Our objective is to ensure that each individual’s unique aspirations, strengths and needs are addressed as they are supported on a long-term basis in taking the steps needed to attain their preferred lifestyle.
Person-centred teams coordinate the planning, implementation and regular review of each individual’s support plan, and their corresponding daily activity schedule.
The activities selected as part of each individual’s learning development programme are chosen to reflect what they are motivated by and enjoy doing. We aim to ensure that this learning is practical, and occurs within the local community.
As each person makes progress with new life and coping skills, their achievements are celebrated. Learning can be delivered and recognised in line with the Assessment and Qualification Alliance (AQA) Unit Award Scheme.
